Product Introduction

Copper plating is a fundamental step in many electroplating applications, serving as an intermediate coating to enhance adhesion, Corrosion Resistance, and electrical conductivity. Traditionally, copper plating relied heavily on cyanide-based Solutions, which pose significant environmental and safety hazards.

The FH-105 Non-Cyanide Alkaline Copper Plating Process eliminates cyanide from the formula while maintaining superior plating quality. This process is engineered with innovative additives, stable bath composition, and precise plating control. It allows manufacturers to achieve consistent and high-quality copper deposits without compromising worker safety or environmental protection.

FH-105 is compatible with automatic production lines, barrel plating, rack plating, and selective plating processes, making it versatile for small-scale workshops as well as large industrial plants.


One,Process characteristics

1, this process coating is delicate and dense, the potential difference between high and low potential is very small and uniform and bright.

2、The current density range is wide, and the coverage is excellent.

3、High tolerance for organic or inorganic impurities, easy to control.

4、Suitable for iron、copper, bronze and other different substrates of workpieces, especially suitable for zinc alloy castings.

5、The original cyanide tank can be directly transferred to the tank,no need to open a new tank.

IV. Plating Solution Preparation:

1、Add two-thirds of the water to the tank, heat to 50℃.

2、Add FH-105 conductive salt to the calculation amount to dissolve completely.

3, add cupric cyanide (previously dissolved in water to a paste), stir vigorously until completely dissolved.

4, add 2 g/l of activated carbon, stir continuously for about 1 hour and then let stand, filter to clarify.

5、After adding the calculated additive, low current electrolysis for a few hours with a wavy stainless steel plate can be tried.

LightFH-105A Brightener   180—200ml/KAH

Chelating agent FH-105B 250-300ml/KAH

                                                   

FiveDip solution maintenance:

   1、FH-105D conductive rod salt mainly plays the role of complexing copper, the same as sodium cyanide, which can dissolve copper plates, and the solution plays the role of conductivity. Below 3 g/L of sodium cyanide, low current area will produce white mist; free sodium cyanide above 20g/L, low cathode current efficiency, and at the same time, a large amount of gas will be produced at the cathode. Therefore, the value of free sodium cyanide depends on the content of copper.

   2、FH-105T copper salt, supplement the free copper in the plating solution, too low copper salt walking is not good, too high copper salt, the plating solution turns green, walking is poor according to the opening tank ratio and conductive salt to supplement copper salt.

   3、FH-105A developer, increase breadth, developer too little, workpiece not bright, developer too much affects the walk.

   4, FH-105B complexing agent plays a role in complexing plating, making the plating more delicate.
